The company’s Spring/Summer 2017 marketing shoot ‘Genesis’ was creative directed by El Lewis and shot in New York by photographers Ryan Loewy and Emilio Hernandez. The store showcases bold high-fashion looks from Sukeina, Laurenceairline, Trèfle Designs, Kamilah Willacy, Françoise Elizée, Vavvoune, Will-Ahsi, Fabryan, Malene B, and AphroChic. The marketing campaign signifies the creation of a new and fresh change in the fashion industry.
Featured Brands
The online store will offer designer brands from regions including Africa, America, Europe, and the Caribbean. Tapped for the launch include Laurenceairline, an Ivorian-Parisian menswear brand currently featured in historic Galleries Lafayette ‘Africa Now’ pop-up shop, and Senegalese-American womenswear brand Sukeina. Lifestyle offerings to include British accessories line Fabryan and celebrity resort wear brand Trefle Designs from the British Virgin Islands. The site also offers handbags from American designers Kamilah Willacy, Françoise Elizée, and Vavvoune, the latter coined by Teen Vogue as a “Haitian Designer You Need To Know About.” Homeware accessories by fabric and interior designers Malene B and AphroChic will also be included. The site has more in store as it expands its collection this season and beyond.
