A spinoff of the original Carl Weber’s The Family Business, the new series has been teased by BET+ for the better part of 2024.

But now, the series will finally allow fans to get invested in a new family’s drama deep in the Big Easy. The series stars Lela Rochon, Yvette Nicole Brown, Brandon T. Jackson and Pooch Hall. Also starring are Ben Stephens, Quincy Brown, David Banner, Orlando Jones, and BernNadette Stanis, among others.

The series follows another branch of the Duncan family, who owns a popular New Orleans club. But the club and family are not as glitzy and glimmering as they seem on the outset. According to the official synopsis:

CARL WEBER’S THE FAMILY BUSINESS: NEW ORLEANS, introduces a new branch of the Duncan family tree, known for their popular casino and nightclub, Midnight Blues, where tourists, titans of industry, and trap kings and queens party side by side.
